We all love a good night out, but how often is the actual getting ready at home with your friends the highlight of the night? Exactly! So when MoneySupermarket contacted me about taking part in their Big Night In competition I said "yes please!" straight away.
We reckon staying in is the new going out.
Sometimes there’s nothing better than relaxing on the sofa with a good movie, your pizza of choice and a nice bottle of wine. But what if you had a chunky £50 to fund a really fabuloza night in? What would you do?
We’ve launched the MoneySupermarket’s Big Night In competition to give bloggers a chance to show us just how much fun you can have with £50. We want to see just how creative they can be in terms of food, drink and entertainment to make the night in a night to remember.Well here's what I did with my £50! I had a fantastically Alive & Kicking, Fun House, Clueless, Crystal Maze adventure of a 90s party. Everyone knows I love the 90s so it was 90s theme fancy dress, retro sweets and food, 90s games (Connect4 anyone?) and a-maz-ing 90s music. I obviously dusted off my blonde wig and went as Cher from Clueless (complete with a check mini-kilt skirt!)
What would you do if you had £50 to spend on your Big Night In? Would you have a girls night in complete with rom-com films, facemasks and a sleepover? Our throw a fabulous BBQ where you can blow your whole budget on adventurous garden games like inflatable 10 pin bowling? Or maybe, just maybe, you'd go 90s like me!
