Jean Paul Gaultier for Diet Coke - 'Night & Day'


Diet Coke is now synonymous with fashion and style, and they've collaborated with another renowned designer for 2012. Jean Paul Gaultier has been appointed as the new Diet Coke Creative Director for 2012. To mark the start of his new role with the brand, Jean Paul Gaultier has designed a limited-edition collection of bottles, in his trademark style.

At the exclusive London launch at the 5th floor bar at Harvey Nichols, industry icon and friend of Jean Paul Gaultier, Hilary Alexander, hosted the event and introduced us to the stylish new bottles. The collection themed ‘Night & Day’, pays homage to Gaultier’s infamous designs. Combining his signature style of corsetry and Breton stripes, the bottles are instantly recognisable and celebrate the female form. In keeping with the female form celebratory theme, we were treated to all things feminine on the night, with lace eyelashes, glitter tattoos and a burlesque dancer.

To complete the Jean Paul Gaultier for Diet Coke collection, a third limited-edition bottle is to be launched later in the year. Inspired by Jean Paul Gaultier's love of body art, the exclusive ‘Tattoo’ bottle will be introduced to complement the ‘Night & Day’ bottles - but you'll have to wait, it won't be added to the collection until later this year.




The ‘Night & Day’ bottles are available from Harvey Nichols stores nationwide from 16th April 2012.
