London Fashion Week A/W 2011 - Belle Sauvage

The Old Sorting Office on New Oxford Street was one of the best London Fashion Week spaces I'd seen, and worked perfectly with Belle Sauvage's collection. It felt like we had arrived at an under-ground, all night rave as we stepped out of the rain and into the darkness (it was nearly pitch black). It's huge space, with a lengthy catwalk to boot and the industrial, stripped back abandoned warehouse matched with the futuristic, ghoulish and animalistic prints and styling.

The collection was all about print, with geometric digital prints taking centre stage. Body-con mini ad maxi dresses with cleverly cut-outs and sheer mesh panels gave a fresh and dramatic look, and made up most of the collection. Clever styling, plaited hair and accessories added to the under-ground tribal feel. I very solid and covetable collection.

I could see Brit new-comer Jessie J, Gaga and Rihanna all over this collection; can I interest you in a thigh-high sheer panelled maxi dress, ladies?
