Beautiful people keep their Eyes Wide Shut at Vogue's 90th Anniversary Party in Paris

Beautiful people descended on the Hotel Pozzo di Borgo in Paris to celebrate the 90th birthday of the fashion bible dedicated to all things beautiful, Vogue. The guestlist read like a 'who's who' of power players in the fashion industry; from global Vogue editors to Models du Jour to renowned designers, everyone was there. The guests put on a Red Carpet catwalk display worthy of a couture catwalk, with incredibly beautiful gowns and styling, not to mention the beautiful and imaginative masked worn to fit the dramatic theme, Eyes Wide Shut.

Anna Dello Russo stole the show slightly from host, French Vogue Editor Carine Roitfeld, in her stunning white Pucci gown and Gareth Pugh head piece. Other belles of the ball included Lara Stone in an emerald, liquid dress and bouffant Marie Antoinette hairstyle, Tyra Banks with a fishnet mask, Karolina Kurkova wowed in a short but sweet black dress and killer gloves and feathered shoes, Alessandra Ambrosio in a va va voom red dress (and a very weird talking on the phone red carpet pose in almost every picture), Dita von Teese wearing suspender and a coat (would have loved to have seen what was underneath) and Crystal Renn wore feathers and fur to complete her black magic look.

The main look of the night (not including 'Black'), was see through, with lots of underwear on display! Carine Roitfeld led the way and opted for no bra with her daring dress (don't think I'll be trying this look. Love the animal print coat, though). Natalia Vodianova, Maria Carla and Isabel Goulart all tried their hand at the barely there trend as well, but Maria Carla and her leather hold-ups win for me.
